Driving Simulators Go Beyond the Classroom

The following post Driving Simulators Go Beyond the Classroom is available on: http://mobillefacebook.com/

Motion Simulators are state of the art mechanical pods that create a virtual reality experience. A professional military grade aviator can harness themselves in a realistic captain’s seat, turn on the controls, and steer a jet by watching three HD screens. The device simulates the turns, g-force effects, and rotation of the jet into real life movements felt by the pilot. Drivers use the joy stick and controls that mimic a real plane to control their experience.

“Racing Simulators are a monument to reality simulation. Utilizing a state of the art motorized platform The Eleetus Simulator can deliver up to 40 degrees of movement in any direction,” touts Eleetus MotorSport.

Companies like Eleetus MotorSport have been creating and supplying Eleetus motion simulators for years. In 2017, these devices are also available for commercial gaming institutions, arcades, college housing complexes, trade shows, and educational use.

Eleetus racing simulators are going beyond the classroom and into homes. Newer constructions include additional features that make them suitable for video gamers, families, and commercial companies alike.  Some of the newer simulators include additions such as smartphone and tablet integrations as well as compatibility with the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Head Set.

The racing and flight simulators are additions to home recreation rooms, entertainment centers, as well as housing or apartment complex gaming and rec rooms. Families and gamers can experience driving on real race tracks, like Germany’s Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit, driving vehicles in competitive off road derbies, or soaring through the skies in a jet plane all within the comfort of their own homes.

While racing and flight simulators will always be used in driver education and by pilots honing their skills, we may see a shift in rec rooms across the United States. Where will racing simulators be going next? Will we see more young people dreaming of becoming the next Earnhardt Jr.? We will have to wait and see.
